The simple definition of SEO or Search Engine Optimization is, “the process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.”
Ranking high in search engines is not an easy task, but we can design an effective SEO strategy that will greatly increase your chances of ranking high. The higher the ranking, the more likely visitors will find you and come to your website.
There are many search engines, but Google makes up for 80% of all online searches, so we design our strategies around their requirements. We’ll provide Google with everything they need to ensure you rank high and stay there for long periods of time.
Having a lot of visitors and website traffic, does not necessarily bring in more business to your company. This is where effective SEO strategy comes into play. We want to design your SEO, so that it attracts exactly the types of clients you WANT to be finding you.
We will have a conversation about creating a key-phrase that people would type into the search engines to find you. I’ll help you come up with a great one that is unique and will not only generate traffic, but the exact customers you are looking to attract.
Before we start the SEO process, we need to take a measurement of where you rank in the search engines currently, using this new key-phrase. We make note of the page number, so we can measure how our strategy is working.
We will research other websites based on this key-phrase, to find out who is ranking the highest in the search engines using these terms. We study their sites to uncover any special techniques they are using to rank so high.
We add background programming code to your website called Meta Tags. The search engines look for these tags when someone initiates a search. One of these tags is called Keywords. Another is Description. There are a few of them that we will utilize including Open Graph tags.
We will need to make some adjustments to various sections of your website to reflect your new key-phrase and the meta tags. This will bring all the pieces of the puzzle together and create a focused target for your customers to find you using search engines. We will also need to check your Google Analytics to measure the effects of these changes.
