Gene Moore has been in the music production business for most of his life. He is currently involved with producing unknown artists and helping them to realize the full potential of their songs. He helps with co-writing, arranging and the entire recording process. Gene plays many instruments which allows a singer songwriter with no band, to create fully produced tracks including drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and even backing vocals.
Gene has composed lyrics and music for National TV & Radio ads as well as Corporate Industrials. If you live in Westchester County, NY, you’ve probably heard his jingle You’ve Got A Friend In Robison, for the Robison Oil Company. Gene created the slogan that appears on their delivery and repair trucks.
Gene was a head writer for many years at Radioband of America in NYC, led by the late Harley Flaum, providing music to ad agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Grey and McCann Erickson to name a few.
Gene then went on to create his own music company, Moore Music. During that time he composed music for many politican campaign films such as Bob Dole, Tom Ridge, John Ashcroft and most notably, George W. Bush during his run for presidential election. Gene had a long run with a Xerox campaign featuring the voice of James Garner.
Gene also created the music and melody for the U. S. Soccer Federation stadium chant in coordination with Philips Electronics, during their sponsorship of US Soccer.
Perhaps the most famous of all Gene’s contributions was a song he co –wrote with Ace Frehley from the supergroup, KISS. The song is titled INSANE and appears of a few of Ace’s solo records including Second Sighting and 12 Picks.
Gene currently performs regularly as a guitarist with his band MONSTER in various venues throughout the Tri State Area. For more about MONSTER, please visit http://MonsterRockBand.com.
